English meaning
So, by the potency of these worlds, these deities and this threefold knowledge, the damage to the sacrifice is repaired. A sacrifice in which the Brahman priest knows this is a sacrifice that has received a remedy.
Explanation
Bheṣaja means a remedy, but the “patient” here is the sacrifice in a metaphorical sense. Worlds, deities and Vedic knowledge reconnect the three stages of extraction. The priest’s knowledge grounds the capacity to repair.
Context
The joining analogy is now applied to the sacred utterances and the knowledgeable supervising priest.
