English meaning
With twenty-one syllables one reaches the sun, for that sun is the twenty-first from here. With the twenty-second one wins what lies beyond the sun: that is nāka, that is free from sorrow.
व्याख्या
इक्कीसवें सूर्य का कथन एक वैदिक संख्या-विन्यास में है; इस वाक्य में उसके सारे पद नहीं गिनाए गए। नाक को यहाँ शोक-रहित उच्च स्थिति के रूप में रखा गया है।
Explanation
Calling the sun twenty-first belongs to a Vedic numerical ordering whose full components are not listed in this sentence. Nāka is retained as the name of the sorrowless higher state.
संदर्भ
सात साम-अंगों के नामों में अक्षरों की गणना करके समता और मृत्यु के अतिक्रमण की उपासना बताई जाती है।
Context
The syllables in the names of the seven chant portions are counted in a contemplation of equality and passage beyond death.
