अथ हाग्नयः समूदिरे तप्तो ब्रह्मचारी कुशलं नः पर्यचारीद्धन्तास्मै प्रब्रवामेति तस्मै होचुः ॥ ४ ॥

तब अग्नियों ने आपस में कहा: “इस ब्रह्मचारी ने तप किया है और हमारी कुशलतापूर्वक सेवा की है। आओ, हम इसे उपदेश दें।” तब उन्होंने उससे कहा:
