रैक्वेमानि षट्शतानि गवामयं निष्कोऽयमश्वतरीरथोऽनु म एतां भगवो देवताꣳशाधि यां देवतामुपास्स इति ॥ २ ॥

हिन्दी अर्थ
“रैक्व, ये छह सौ गायें हैं, यह निष्क है और यह खच्चरियों वाला रथ है। भगवन्, जिस देवता की आप उपासना करते हैं, उसी देवता का मुझे उपदेश दीजिए।”
English meaning
“Raikva, here are six hundred cows, this niṣka, and this mule-drawn carriage. Sir, instruct me concerning the deity you contemplate.”
व्याख्या
निवेदन केवल किसी देवता का नाम पूछना नहीं है; अनुशाधि निर्देश और शिक्षण माँगता है। आगे मिलने वाली संवर्गविद्या इस प्रश्न का उत्तर है।
