English meaning
One who understands this and praises the syllable enters this very sound, the deathless and fearless syllable. Having entered it, one shares the deathlessness of the gods.
Explanation
Praṇauti means to praise, and here it is connected with informed contemplation. Evaṃ vidvān emphasizes understanding the identification just taught, not mechanical repetition alone. Sharing the gods’ deathlessness is the passage’s religious assertion; translating it does not turn it into a promise about health or lifespan.
संदर्भ
देवताओं की कथा का फल अब उस मनुष्य तक विस्तृत किया जाता है जो ओम् का अर्थ जानकर उसकी उपासना करता है।
Context
The result of the gods’ story is extended to a human practitioner who contemplates OM with understanding.
