तासां त्रिवृतं त्रिवृतमेकैकां करवाणीति सेयं देवतेमास्तिस्रो देवता अनेनैव जीवेनात्मनानुप्रविश्य नामरूपे व्याकरोत् ॥ ३ ॥

[सा], तासाम् एकैकाम् त्रिवृतम् त्रिवृतम् करवाणि इति [ऐक्षत] । सा इयम् देवता इमाः तिस्रः देवताः अनेन एव जीवेन आत्मना अनुप्रविश्य नामरूपे व्याकरोत् ।
हिन्दी अर्थ
“‘मैं इनमें से प्रत्येक को तीन-तीन का मिश्रण बनाऊँ।’ फिर उस देवता ने इसी जीवस्वरूप आत्मा के द्वारा इन तीन देवताओं में प्रवेश करके नाम और रूप को अलग-अलग प्रकट किया।”
English meaning
“‘Let me make each of these threefold.’ Then that deity entered these three deities through this very living self and differentiated name and form.”
