English meaning
For twice the period during which the sun rises in the south and sets in the north, it will rise in the west and set in the east. For that period the knower attains the dominion and self-rule of the Ādityas.
Explanation
The solar movement belongs to the divine timescale of the honey teaching, not a straightforward report of ordinary daily observation. Ādhipatya denotes lordship, while svārājya denotes independent rule. The doubled duration is relative to the preceding directional course; the periods are not all equal.
Context
The reward of participation among the Ādityas is measured by a particular directional course of the sun.
