Passage 112.2
English meaning
“But when his speech merges into mind, mind into vital breath, vital breath into heat, and heat into the highest deity, then he no longer recognizes them.”
Explanation
The preceding negative condition is replaced by the same four stages stated positively. Na jānāti concerns failure to recognize in this scene; the translation does not infer from it that the self has been destroyed.
Context
After the condition under which recognition remains, the passage states the condition in which it ceases.
