कल्पन्ते हास्मा ऋतव ऋतुमान्भवति य एतदेवं विद्वानृतुषु पञ्चविधꣳ सामोपास्ते ॥ २ ॥

अन्वय
यः एतत् एवम् विद्वान् ऋतुषु पञ्चविधम् साम उपास्ते, अस्मै ऋतवः ह कल्पन्ते; [सः] ऋतुमान् भवति ।
हिन्दी अर्थ
जो इसे इस प्रकार जानकर ऋतुओं में पाँच अंगों वाले साम की उपासना करता है, उसके लिए ऋतुएँ अनुकूल होती हैं और वह ऋतुओं के लाभ से सम्पन्न होता है।
English meaning
For one who knows this and contemplates the five-part Sāman in the seasons, the seasons become favourable, and he enjoys their abundance.

ऋतुमान् का शाब्दिक भाव ऋतुओं से सम्पन्न होना है, जिसे यहाँ उनके अनुकूल फल पाने के रूप में समझाया गया है।

Ṛtumān literally means endowed with seasons; here it is understood as enjoying their favourable effects.
