तस्मिन्नेतस्मिन्नग्नौ देवा रेतो जुह्वति तस्या आहुतेर्गर्भः सम्भवति ॥ २ ॥

अन्वय
तस्मिन् एतस्मिन् अग्नौ देवाः रेतः जुह्वति । तस्याः आहुतेः गर्भः सम्भवति ।
हिन्दी अर्थ
इसी अग्नि में देवता वीर्य की आहुति देते हैं। उस आहुति से गर्भ उत्पन्न होता है।
English meaning
Into this very fire the gods offer semen. From that offering an embryo arises.
व्याख्या
श्रद्धा, सोम, वर्षा, अन्न और वीर्य के क्रम का अन्त गर्भ है। यह प्राचीन सृष्टि और पुनर्जन्म-व्याख्या है; आधुनिक प्रजनन-विज्ञान की पूरी जानकारी का विकल्प नहीं।
Explanation
Faith, Soma, rain, food and semen culminate in an embryo. This is an ancient account of generation and rebirth, not a substitute for modern reproductive knowledge.
