एतान्यपि तु कर्माणि सङ्गं त्यक्त्वा फलानि च । कर्तव्यानीति मे पार्थ निश्चितं मतमुत्तमम् ॥१८-६॥

पार्थ, इन कर्मों को भी आसक्ति और फल छोड़कर करना चाहिए। यही मेरा सुनिश्चित और श्रेष्ठ मत है।

पिछले श्लोक के आवश्यक कर्मों में भी आसक्ति छोड़ने की शर्त जोड़ी जाती है।
