English meaning
Of that path they speak of white, blue, tawny, green and red. This path has been discovered through brahman; along it goes the knower of brahman, the doer of good and the radiant one.
Explanation
The five colours have been related to ancient imagery of channels and radiance, but the verse does not provide a modern anatomical map. The instrumental brahmana allows interpretive questions about agency and means.
Context
The verse gives the path’s colours and the character of its traveller.
