स वा एष महानज आत्मान्नादो वसुदानः । विन्दते वसु य एवं वेद ॥ २४ ॥

अन्वय
सः वा एषः महान् अजः आत्मा अन्नादः वसुदानः [अस्ति] । यः एवम् वेद, [सः] वसु विन्दते ।
हिन्दी अर्थ
यह महान्, अज आत्मा अन्न का भोक्ता और सम्पत्ति देने वाला है। जो ऐसा जानता है वह सम्पत्ति प्राप्त करता है।
English meaning
This great, unborn Self is the eater of food and giver of wealth. One who knows in this way obtains wealth.
व्याख्या
अन्नाद और वसुदान जीवन के भोग और धारण दोनों पक्ष दिखाते हैं। सम्पत्ति का वचन उपासना का पारम्परिक फल है, आर्थिक सफलता की गारंटी नहीं।
Explanation
Eater of food and giver of wealth evoke enjoyment and sustenance. The promised wealth is a traditional religious result, not a guarantee of financial success.
