त्रयो लोका एत एव । वागेवायं लोको मनोऽन्तरिक्षलोकः प्राणोऽसौ लोकः ॥ ४ ॥

अन्वय
एते एव त्रयः लोकाः [सन्ति] । वाक् एव अयम् लोकः [अस्ति]; मनः अन्तरिक्षलोकः [अस्ति]; प्राणः असौ लोकः [अस्ति] ।
हिन्दी अर्थ
ये ही तीन लोक हैं: वाणी यह पृथिवीलोक, मन अन्तरिक्षलोक और प्राण वह द्युलोक है।
English meaning
These are also the three worlds: speech is this earthly world, mind the intermediate world, and breath that heavenly world.
व्याख्या
वाक्, मनस् और प्राण को एक के बाद एक संसार-स्तर दिया गया है। यह उपासना की समानता-रचना है, पृथिवी, वायुमण्डल और आकाश की भौतिक संरचना का दावा नहीं।
Explanation
Each faculty is assigned a cosmic level in turn. This is a contemplative scheme of correspondences, not a physical description of earth, atmosphere and sky.
