जनार्दन, धार्तराष्ट्रान् निहत्य नः का प्रीतिः स्यात् । एतान् आततायिनः हत्वा पापम् एव अस्मान् आश्रयेत् ।

जनार्दन, धृतराष्ट्र के पुत्रों को मारकर हमें कैसा आनन्द मिलेगा? इन आक्रमणकारियों को मारने से भी हमें पाप ही लगेगा।
English meaning
Janardana, what joy could we gain by killing Dhritarashtra’s sons? Arjuna fears that even killing these aggressors would bring sin upon us.
