अनित्याशुचिदुःखानात्मसु नित्यशुचिसुखात्मख्यातिरविद्या ।। २.५ ।।

अनित्य, अशुद्ध, दुःखस्वरूप और अनात्म में क्रमशः नित्य, शुद्ध, सुख और आत्मा की पहचान करना अविद्या है।
English meaning
Ignorance is taking the impermanent, impure, painful and non-Self to be permanent, pure, pleasurable and the Self.
