सति मूले तद्विपाको जात्यायुर्भोगाः ।। २.१३ ।।

अन्वय
मूले सति तत्-विपाकः जात्यायुर्भोगाः [सन्ति] ।
हिन्दी अर्थ
मूल के रहते उस कर्माशय का परिपाक जन्म की अवस्था, आयु और भोग के रूप में होता है।
English meaning
While the root remains, that deposit ripens as the condition of birth, length of life and lived experience.
प्रसंग
पिछले सूत्र के कर्माशय का परिपाक अब तीन पक्षों में बताया जाता है।
सरल व्याख्या
‘मूल के रहते’ शर्त है; विचार फिर क्लेशों के आधार की ओर ध्यान लौटाता है।
