Sutra 2.15
परिणामतापसंस्कारदुःखैर्गुणवृत्तिविरोधाच्च दुःखमेव सर्वं विवेकिनः ।। २.१५ ।।

अन्वय
विवेकिनः परिणामतापसंस्कारदुःखैः गुणवृत्तिविरोधात् च सर्वम् दुःखम् एव [अस्ति] ।
हिन्दी अर्थ
परिवर्तन, संताप और संस्कार के दुःखों तथा गुणों की वृत्तियों के परस्पर विरोध के कारण विवेकी के लिए सब कुछ दुःखरूप ही है।
English meaning
For the discerning, all conditioned experience is painful because of change, distress, the pressure of impressions, and conflict among the movements of the gunas.
प्रसंग
आनंद और संताप के भेद के बाद विवेक की दृष्टि से सुख की अस्थिरता भी देखी जाती है।
सरल व्याख्या
सुखद अनुभव भी परिवर्तन और उसे फिर पाने की छाप से बँध सकता है; यह आगे हेय दुःख की खोज का आधार है।
Context
After distinguishing joy and distress, discernment also considers the instability of pleasure.
