कायेन्द्रियसिद्धिरशुद्धिक्षयात्तपसः ।। २.४३ ।।

अन्वय
तपसः अशुद्धिक्षयात् कायेन्द्रियसिद्धिः [भवति] ।

तप से अशुद्धि का क्षय होने पर शरीर और इंद्रियों की सिद्धि होती है।
English meaning
Through discipline, as impurity diminishes, accomplishment of body and senses arises.

नियमों के क्रम में अब तप के फल का पारंपरिक वर्णन आता है।

फल को अशुद्धि के क्षय से जोड़ा गया है; केवल कठोर कष्ट सहना तप की पूरी बात नहीं है।
