ते ह्लादपरितापफलाः पुण्यापुण्यहेतुत्वात् ।। २.१४ ।।

अन्वय
ते पुण्यापुण्यहेतुत्वात् ह्लादपरितापफलाः [भवन्ति] ।

वे परिपाक आनंद या संताप के फल देते हैं, क्योंकि उनके कारण पुण्य या अपुण्य होते हैं।
English meaning
Those results bear joy or distress because their causes are meritorious or unmeritorious action.

जन्म, आयु और अनुभव के परिपाक में सुख-दुःख के भेद को कर्म के नैतिक कारण से जोड़ा जाता है।
