अहिंसाप्रतिष्ठायां तत्संनिधौ वैरत्यागः ।। २.३५ ।।

अन्वय
अहिंसाप्रतिष्ठायाम् तत्-सन्निधौ वैरत्यागः [भवति] ।
हिन्दी अर्थ
अहिंसा में प्रतिष्ठा होने पर उसके सान्निध्य में वैर छूट जाता है।
English meaning
When one is established in non-harming, hostility is relinquished in that one's presence.
प्रसंग
प्रतिपक्षभावन के बाद अब यमों में दृढ़ प्रतिष्ठा के फल क्रम से बताए जाते हैं।
सरल व्याख्या
वर्णन अहिंसा की सिद्ध अवस्था का है, किसी एक बाहरी अहिंसक कर्म का तत्काल फल बताने का नहीं।
