कामक्रोधवियुक्तानां यतीनां यतचेतसाम् । अभितो ब्रह्मनिर्वाणं वर्तते विदितात्मनाम् ॥५-२६॥

हिन्दी अर्थ
काम और क्रोध से मुक्त, मन को संयमित रखने वाले और आत्मा को जानने वाले साधकों के लिए ब्रह्मनिर्वाण निकट ही, हर ओर उपस्थित है।
English meaning
For disciplined seekers free of desire and anger, with minds restrained and the Self known, release in Brahman is present on every side.
प्रसंग
इन्द्रियसुख की सीमाओं से चर्चा आत्मसंयम और भीतरी शान्ति की ओर बढ़ती है। काम और क्रोध का वेग इसी क्रम में आता है।
सरल व्याख्या
काम और क्रोध के क्षय को चित्तसंयम तथा आत्मज्ञान से जोड़ा गया है। केवल भाव दबा देना इस पूरी तैयारी के बराबर नहीं है।
