English meaning
The person established in yoga relinquishes results and reaches settled peace. One without that integration, driven by desire and attached to results, becomes bound.
Context
Explaining action-yoga, Krishna considers how outward activity can coexist with inward release from attachment.
Simple explanation
The relationship to a result can change within the same activity; relinquishment here means releasing attachment rather than becoming inactive.
