स तया श्रद्धया युक्तस्तस्याराधनमीहते । लभते च ततः कामान्मयैव विहितान्हि तान् ॥७-२२॥

अन्वय
सः तया श्रद्धया युक्तः तस्य आराधनम् ईहते । ततः च मया एव विहितान् तान् कामान् हि लभते ।
हिन्दी अर्थ
वह उसी श्रद्धा से उस देवता की आराधना करता है और अपनी इच्छित वस्तुएँ पाता है; पर वे फल वास्तव में मेरे ही द्वारा नियत होते हैं।
English meaning
With that faith, the devotee seeks to worship that deity and receives desired benefits from it; those benefits, however, are apportioned by me.
