रजसि प्रलयं गत्वा कर्मसङ्गिषु जायते । तथा प्रलीनस्तमसि मूढयोनिषु जायते ॥१४-१५॥

अन्वय
[देहभृत्] रजसि प्रलयम् गत्वा कर्मसङ्गिषु जायते; तथा तमसि प्रलीनः [सन्] मूढयोनिषु जायते ।
हिन्दी अर्थ
रज की प्रधानता में मृत्यु होने पर जन्म कर्म में आसक्त लोगों के बीच होता है। इसी तरह तम की प्रधानता में मरने वाला मोहग्रस्त योनियों में जन्म लेता है।
English meaning
Dying under the predominance of rajas, one is born among those attached to action. Dying under tamas, one is born in forms of life marked by delusion.

सत्त्व के बाद रजस् और तमस् की प्रधानता में देह छोड़ने की गतियाँ बताई जाती हैं।
