कर्माशुक्लाकृष्णं योगिनस्. त्रिविधं इतरेषां ।। ४.७ ।।

अन्वय
योगिनः कर्म अशुक्लाकृष्णम् [अस्ति]; इतरेषाम् [कर्म] त्रिविधम् [अस्ति] ।
हिन्दी अर्थ
योगी का कर्म न शुक्ल होता है, न कृष्ण; अन्य लोगों का कर्म तीन प्रकार का होता है।
English meaning
A yogin's action is neither white nor black; the action of others is threefold.
प्रसंग
कर्माशय की चर्चा अब योगी और अन्य लोगों के कर्म के भेद तक आती है। शुक्ल और कृष्ण कर्मफल-संबंधी वर्गीकरण के पद हैं।
सरल व्याख्या
तीन प्रकार शुक्ल, कृष्ण और मिश्र कर्म की ओर संकेत करते हैं। योगी की स्थिति का कथन किसी आचरण को मनमाने ढंग से सही घोषित करने की छूट नहीं है।
Context
