जात्यन्तरपरिणामः प्रकृत्यापूरात् ।। ४.२ ।।

जात्यंतर का विषय यहाँ प्रकृति में निहित रूपांतरण है। इस धार्मिक-दर्शनगत कथन को आधुनिक जीवविकास का सिद्धांत या इच्छानुसार शरीर बदलने का वादा न समझें।
