एतां दृष्टिमवष्टभ्य नष्टात्मानोऽल्पबुद्धयः । प्रभवन्त्युग्रकर्माणः क्षयाय जगतोऽहिताः ॥१६-९॥

अन्वय
नष्टात्मानः अल्पबुद्धयः उग्रकर्माणः अहिताः एताम् दृष्टिम् अवष्टभ्य जगतः क्षयाय प्रभवन्ति ।
हिन्दी अर्थ
इस दृष्टि को पकड़कर, अपने स्वरूप से भटके हुए और अल्पबुद्धि लोग उग्र कर्म करते हैं। जगत के अहितकारी बनकर वे उसके विनाश में लगते हैं।
English meaning
Clinging to this outlook, those who have lost sight of the self and have narrow understanding undertake violent deeds. Hostile to the world's welfare, they work toward its destruction.
