आसुरीं योनिमापन्ना मूढा जन्मनि जन्मनि । मामप्राप्यैव कौन्तेय ततो यान्त्यधमां गतिम् ॥१६-२०॥

अन्वय
कौन्तेय, जन्मनि जन्मनि आसुरीम् योनिम् आपन्नाः मूढाः माम् अप्राप्य एव ततः अधमाम् गतिम् यान्ति ।
हिन्दी अर्थ
हे कुन्तीपुत्र, वे मोहग्रस्त लोग जन्म-जन्म में आसुरी योनि पाकर मुझे प्राप्त नहीं करते और उससे भी अधम गति की ओर जाते हैं।
English meaning
Son of Kunti, taking demonic births life after life, those deluded beings do not reach me and go on toward an even lower condition.

यह श्लोक पिछले श्लोक के आसुरी जन्मों के उल्लेख को पूरा करके अधोगति की श्रृंखला समाप्त करता है।
