काममाश्रित्य दुष्पूरं दम्भमानमदान्विताः । मोहाद्गृहीत्वासद्ग्राहान्प्रवर्तन्तेऽशुचिव्रताः ॥१६-१०॥

अन्वय
दम्भमानमदान्विताः अशुचिव्रताः दुष्पूरम् कामम् आश्रित्य मोहात् असद्ग्राहान् गृहीत्वा प्रवर्तन्ते ।

कभी न भरने वाली कामना का आश्रय लेकर, पाखण्ड, मान और मद से भरे लोग मोह के कारण गलत धारणाएँ पकड़ते हैं और अशुद्ध संकल्पों के अनुसार चलते हैं।
English meaning
Relying on desire that cannot be satisfied, filled with hypocrisy, pride and intoxication with themselves, they grasp false notions through delusion and pursue impure commitments.
