यस्मात्क्षरमतीतोऽहमक्षरादपि चोत्तमः । अतोऽस्मि लोके वेदे च प्रथितः पुरुषोत्तमः ॥१५-१८॥

अन्वय
यस्मात् अहम् क्षरम् अतीतः [अस्मि], अक्षरात् अपि च उत्तमः [अस्मि], अतः लोके वेदे च पुरुषोत्तमः [इति] प्रथितः अस्मि ।
हिन्दी अर्थ
क्योंकि मैं क्षर से परे हूँ और अक्षर से भी उत्तम हूँ, इसलिए लोक और वेद में पुरुषोत्तम के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हूँ।
English meaning
Because I transcend the perishable and am higher even than the imperishable, I am known in the world and in the Veda as Purushottama, the highest Person.
