नैनमूर्ध्वं न तिर्यञ्चं न मध्ये न परिजग्रभत् । न तस्य प्रतिमा अस्ति यस्य नाम महद्यशः ॥ १९ ॥

English meaning
No one grasps him above, across or in the middle. There is no equal likeness or measure of the one whose glory is great.
व्याख्या
प्रतिमा तुलना, समकक्ष या प्रतिरूप हो सकती है। इस वाक्य को अकेले निकालकर सभी धार्मिक मूर्तियों पर एक सार्वत्रिक सामाजिक निषेध मानना अर्थ की अतिरिक्त छलाँग होगी।
Explanation
