अणोरणीयान्महतो महीयानात्मा गुहायां निहितोऽस्य जन्तोः । तमक्रतुः पश्यति वीतशोको धातुः प्रसादान्महिमानमीशम् ॥ २० ॥

English meaning
Smaller than the small and greater than the great, the Self is hidden in this creature’s inner cave. Free of desire-driven resolve and sorrow, one sees the majestic Lord through the favor of the Sustainer.
व्याख्या
धातुः प्रसादात् को यहाँ धाता के अनुग्रह से पढ़ा गया है, जैसा आधार-पाठ की विसर्ग-संधि सुझाती है। दूसरे पाठों में धातुप्रसादात् के आधार पर मानसिक या शारीरिक तत्त्वों की निर्मलता का अर्थ आता है।
Explanation
The base’s wording supports “through the Sustainer’s favor.” Other witnesses read dhātuprasādāt, which can be understood as clarity of the constituent faculties or elements; the distinction materially affects interpretation.
