English meaning
Within the space inside the heart is this person made of mind, immortal and golden. Between the two parts of the palate, where something hangs like a teat, is the opening associated with Indra. The path passes where the hair divides, parting the two plates of the skull. With Bhuh one is established in fire; with Bhuvah, in wind.
Explanation
The mind-formed golden person is an object of contemplation. The hanging palatal organ and cranial route belong to a traditional spiritual map of the body; they are not instructions to manipulate or injure it. Indrayoni is read as a doorway or route of attainment associated with Indra, rather than an ordinary reproductive organ.
Context
After external correspondences of the sacred utterances, the sixth anuvaka turns inward to the heart and a bodily path. The ascent continues into the next passage.
