तद्ये ह वै तत् प्रजापतिव्रतं चरन्ति ते मिथुनमुत्पादयन्ते । तेषामेवैष ब्रह्मलोको येषां तपो ब्रह्मचर्यं येषु सत्यं प्रतिष्ठितम् ॥ १५ ॥

हिन्दी अर्थ
जो प्रजापति के इस व्रत का पालन करते हैं, वे सन्तान का जोड़ा उत्पन्न करते हैं। उन्हीं का यह ब्रह्मलोक है जिनमें तप और ब्रह्मचर्य है तथा जिनमें सत्य प्रतिष्ठित है।
English meaning
Those who observe this discipline of Prajapati bring forth a pair of offspring. This world of Brahman belongs to those in whom discipline and brahmacharya are present and in whom truth is firmly established.
व्याख्या
मिथुन को भाष्य पुत्र और पुत्री की जोड़ी समझता है; इसे संतान के लिंग की सुनिश्चित भविष्यवाणी नहीं बनाना चाहिए। तप, संयम और सत्य के साथ गृहस्थ जीवन को मूल्य मिलता है। ब्रह्मलोक शब्द यहाँ और अगले मंत्र में एक ही स्तर की उपलब्धि बताता है, यह मान लेना उचित नहीं; भाष्य दोनों में भेद करता है।
Explanation
The commentary understands the pair as a son and a daughter; this is not a warranted prediction of a child’s sex. Household life receives value through discipline, restraint, and truthfulness. Nor should the term brahmaloka automatically be assigned the same level of attainment here and in the next mantra: the commentary distinguishes them.
