सवित्रा प्रसवेन जुषेत ब्रह्म पूर्व्यम् । यत्र योनिं कृणवसे न हि ते पूर्तमक्षिपत् ॥ ७ ॥

सविता की प्रेरणा से उस प्राचीन ब्रह्म को ग्रहण करे। जहाँ तुम अपना आधार बनाते हो, वहाँ तुम्हारा किया हुआ पूर्तकर्म तुम्हें बाधित न करे।
English meaning
Through Savitar’s impulse one should partake of the ancient Brahman. Where you establish your dwelling or source, may the work you have accomplished not impede you.
व्याख्या
पूर्तम् और अक्षिपत् के सम्बन्ध का अर्थ विवादित है: पूर्ण किया कर्म, यज्ञफल या बाधा न आने का आश्वासन समझा जाता है। यहाँ सामान्य अर्थ रखा गया है, कोई सुनिश्चित कर्मकाण्डीय फल नहीं गढ़ा गया।
Explanation
The relation of pūrtam and akṣipat is disputed: completed action, ritual merit and non-interference all enter traditional readings. The wording is kept general rather than inventing a precise promised ritual result.
