युजे वां ब्रह्म पूर्व्यं नमोभिर्विश्लोक एतु पथ्येव सूरेः । शृण्वन्तु विश्वे अमृतस्य पुत्रा आ ये धामानि दिव्यानि तस्थुः ॥ ५ ॥

नमन के साथ मैं तुम दोनों को प्राचीन ब्रह्म-मन्त्र से जोड़ता हूँ। यह स्तुति सूर्य के मार्ग की भाँति फैल जाए। अमृत के सभी पुत्र सुनें, वे भी जो दिव्य धामों में स्थित हैं।
English meaning
With reverence I join you two to the ancient sacred utterance. Let this song spread like the path of the sun. Let all the children of immortality hear, including those who dwell in heavenly abodes.
व्याख्या
वाम् द्विवचन है; इसके दोनों सम्बोधितों को इस प्रसंग में मन-बुद्धि आदि कहा गया है, पर मन्त्र नाम नहीं देता। अमृतस्य पुत्राः सम्बोधन मानव की आध्यात्मिक सम्भावना का शक्तिशाली रूपक है, कोई जैविक वंशावली नहीं।
Explanation
Vām addresses two, sometimes explained here as mind and understanding, though they are not named. “Children of immortality” is a powerful spiritual address, not a biological genealogy.
