Passage 1.10
English meaning
Pradhāna is perishing, while the one called Hara is imperishable and deathless. The one divine ruler governs both the perishing principle and the self. Through meditation upon him, union with him and becoming established in his reality, the cosmic māyā finally ceases.
Explanation
Hara is read here, contextually, as the experiencing self; taking it automatically as a name of Śiva changes the structure of the triad. Tattvabhāva denotes establishment in reality, not a physical mixing.
Context
The relations of pradhāna, self and divine ruler are linked to practice and the ending of māyā.
