सङ्कल्पनस्पर्शनदृष्टिमोहैर्ग्रासांबुवृष्ट्यात्मविवृद्धिजन्म । कर्मानुगान्यनुक्रमेण देही स्थानेषु रूपाण्यभिसम्प्रपद्यते ॥ ११ ॥

English meaning
Within the processes of intention, contact, seeing, and delusion, and of bodily growth and birth sustained by food, water, and rain, the embodied self successively takes forms in different places in accordance with its actions.

लम्बे समास में भोजन, जल, वर्षा, वृद्धि और जन्म एक साथ आए हैं; उसका वाक्यगत सम्बन्ध सरल नहीं है। यहाँ आत्मविवृद्धि को देहधारी जीवन की वृद्धि माना गया है, शुद्ध चेतना के आकार में बढ़ने का दावा नहीं। कर्मानुगानि जन्मरूपों और पूर्व कर्म के बीच सम्बन्ध पर बल देता है।
