Passage 1.7
English meaning
For one who understands, all beings have become the Self. What delusion or grief can remain for one who sees this oneness?
Explanation
This develops the preceding passage by questioning the separation associated with delusion and grief. It describes a philosophical fruit of understanding, not a directive to dismiss a grieving person's feelings.
Context
These two passages connect a vision of oneness with the ending of aversion, delusion and grief.
