Passage 3.10
English meaning
The Person alone is this whole universe: action, austerity, and Brahman, supreme and deathless. Dear one, whoever knows this as present in the cave of the heart breaks apart the knot of ignorance here itself.
Explanation
The inquiry into the origin of the outward world culminates in recognizing that same reality within the heart’s cave. The word here does not postpone the fruit of knowledge exclusively until after death, while the knot of ignorance is an image of binding misrecognition rather than a physical knot.
Context
The long account of emergence concludes with recognition of its single ground and the liberating consequence of that recognition.
