English meaning
Deep sleep is where a sleeper desires no object and sees no dream. Its experiencer, Prajna, is the third quarter: unified, a mass of awareness, full of bliss, enjoying bliss and serving as the doorway of consciousness.
Explanation
Dreamless sleep is not described merely as a total absence: the text also uses Prajna and bliss. Yet the fourth is subsequently distinguished from this condition.
